Railway Baggage Rules Guidelines:
- Free Allowance: You can carry personal luggage free inside passenger compartments up to specified limits (1AC: 70kg, 2AC: 50kg, 3AC: 40kg, SL: 40kg, GS: 35kg).
- Marginal Allowance: Minor weight exceeding free caps (e.g. up to 10kg over) is permitted without penalty, provided luggage is pre-booked at parcel desks.
- Penalty Rate: Any unbooked luggage discovered over allowances inside passenger compartments is subject to a penalty charge equivalent to 6 times the standard scale parcel rate.
